March 22, 2025: Sweet Springs, MO 65351 The Purdy Eagles softball team scored 1 runs and held the host Sweet Springs Greyhounds to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ash Grove for a Class 1 District 5 battle on Monday, March 24. Purdy will confront a Pirates team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to El Dorado Springs (El Dorado Springs, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Sweet Springs moves to 2-2 on the season. The Greyhounds host Versailles (Versailles, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Monday, March 24. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Versailles lost 10-1 in their recent non-league battle against Skyline (Urbana, MO)
