Missouri High School Softball - Purdy bounces Versailles
April 12, 2025: Purdy, MO 65734 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Purdy Eagles softball team scored a tight 11-4 win over the Versailles Tigers.
The Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Hurley (Hurley, MO). The Tigers come into the Class 1 District 5 match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Hurley was routed by Southwest (Washburn, MO), 15-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers (Mt. Vernon, MO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 12. Versailles will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Mountaineers come into the match with a 12-4 record after their 7-0 league win over Lamar (Lamar, MO).
