March 22, 2025: Lecompte, LA 71346 The Simpson Broncos overwhelmed the host Rapides Mustangs softball squad by a count of 19-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Broncos meet the Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 24. Simpson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA).
The Mustangs (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Holy Savior Menard toppled Bunkie (Bunkie, LA), 13-2, in a non-league challenge.
