March 23, 2022: Marietta, GA 30066 The Lassiter Trojans baseball team (Marietta, GA), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA)
The Greyhounds now hold a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheeler for a AAAAAA Region 6 outing on Friday, March 25. Pope will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Kell (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-11.
Next, the Trojans confront the Osborne Cardinals (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 outing, on Friday, March 25. Lassiter will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 5-11 record after their 17-5 non-league win over Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA).
