Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Burbank Titans (Sacramento, CA) in a Metropolitan Conference match, on Thursday, March 24. Monterey Trail will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 2-7 record after their 3-1 league win over River City (West Sacramento, CA).

With the loss, Laguna Creek drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Kennedy (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a Metropolitan Conference match on Thursday, March 24.
