March 22, 2022: Gilbert, AZ 85234 Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), 8-7 in a league test.
With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hawks host Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Thunder in a test on Tuesday, March 29. The Thunder come into the test with a record of 5-2. Desert Vista won 14-7 in their recent non-league test against Perry (Gilbert, AZ)
With the defeat, Mountain Pointe falls to 2-6 on the season. The Pride travel to Mountain View (Mesa, AZ) to battle the Toros in a non-league test on Friday, March 25. The Toros come into the test with a record of 4-3. Mountain View won 7-5 in their recent league test against Westwood (Mesa, AZ)
