North Carolina High School Softball - South Columbus bounces East Bladen
March 23, 2022: Elizabethtown, NC 28337 South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Stallions now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pender for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 29. South Columbus will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, East Bladen falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to battle the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25. The Wolfpack enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Whiteville won 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
