Arizona High School Softball - Verrado bounces La Joya Community
March 23, 2022: Buckeye, AZ 85396 The Verrado Vipers routed the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos softball squad by a final score of 20-0 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Vipers (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights go into the 5A Desert West battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Lake Havasu was routed by Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Fighting Lobos now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Agua Fria for a 5A Desert West battle on Friday, March 25. La Joya Community will meet a Owls squad coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Owls record now stands at 3-10.
