California High School Softball - Mira Costa gets by Peninsula
March 23, 2022: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) and the visiting Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), witnessed Mira Costa's softball squad tip Peninsula by a count of 3-2.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Culver City for a Bay match on Friday, March 25. Mira Costa will meet a Centaurs squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Centaurs record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, Peninsula moves to 6-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA) to meet the Vikings in a Bay match on Friday, March 25. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 7-5. Santa Monica won 22-6 in their recent league match against Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA)
