In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) softball team held off the visiting Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC), by a margin of 1-0.

With the triumph, Riverside-Martin moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, March 28. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 3-2.
