In Thursday's non-league game, the host McDowell Titans baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Mitchell Mountaineers.

The Titans (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Patton was overwhelmed by McDowell (Marion, NC), 12-4, in a non-league game.
