Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC), 8-5 in a league test.

With the win, Morehead upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Panthers host T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC) to battle the Red Raiders in a Mid-State 2A test on Tuesday, March 28. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-3. T.W. Andrews lost 15-3 in their recent non-league test against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC)

With the defeat, Walkertown falls to 5-5 on the season. The Wolfpack host McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to battle the Phoenix in a Mid-State 2A test on Tuesday, March 28. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 7-5. McMichael won 9-8 in their recent league test against Reidsville (Reidsville, NC)
