In Thursday's league battle, the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 14-3.

Coming up next, the Sabres clash with the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 24. South Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Iron Horses come into the battle with a 8-2 record after their 11-8 non-league win over Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC).

The Panthers now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Norman Charter for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 29.
