Agoura Chargers (Agoura, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Westlake for a Marmonte challenge on Friday, March 24. Agoura will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Thousand Oaks falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Lancers host Calabasas (Calabasas, CA) to battle the Coyotes in a Marmonte challenge on Friday, March 24. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 1-13. Calabasas lost 27-1 in their recent league challenge against Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA)
