The Pirates now possess a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a 3A Region III District 23 bout on Wednesday, March 27. Shepherd will face a Tigers team coming off a 11-0 league loss to New Waverly (New Waverly, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-16.
Next, the Trojans face the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, March 26. Coldspring-Oakhurst will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Longhorns enter the bout with a 8-8 record after their 15-0 league win over Crockett (Crockett, TX).
