The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions nudged the visiting Trivium Prep Crimson Knights baseball team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's league bout.

The Lions now hold a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage Academy for a 2A West bout on Monday, March 25. St. John Paul II Catholic will face a Heroes team coming off a 18-3 league win over Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ). The Heroes record now stands at 2-6.

Next, the Crimson Knights face the American Leadership Academy - West Foothills Guardians (Waddell, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 26.
