March 23, 2024: Alton, IL 62002 Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 2. Plainfield North will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Griffins come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Brother Rice (Chicago, IL).
With the loss, Alton moves to 1-2 on the year. The Redbirds host Belleville West (Belleville, IL) to face the Maroons in a Southwestern contest on Tuesday, March 26. The Maroons go into the contest with a record of 4-1. Belleville West won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO)
