The Father McGivney Catholic Griffins topped the visiting Alton Redbirds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Griffins now have a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to First Baptist Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, May 9.

The Redbirds (7-17) will now prepare for their test against Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Lancers enter the Southwestern test with a 26-4 record. In their last test, Belleville East gained a win over Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
