March 23, 2024: Paris, KY 40361 The Bourbon County Colonels the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets softball squad by a count of 6-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Colonels (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Thorobreds go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Harrison County nudged Simon Kenton (Independence, KY), 12-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bluejackets now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to George Rogers Clark for a non-league battle on Monday, March 25. Nicholas County will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.
