In Monday's league test, the East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), by a tally of 13-0.

Next, the Urchins clash with the Strayhorn Mustangs (Sarah, MS) in a 2A Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, March 24. East Union will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 2-11 record after their 12-5 non-league win over Independence (Independence, MS).
