In Monday's non-league match, the host Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans softball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Emerald Vikings.

The Trojans (7-4) will now prepare for their match against North (North, SC). The Eagles go into the A Region 3 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, North was routed by Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC), 14-0, in a league match.
