In Monday's non-league match, the host St. Michael's Horsemen softball team scored a tight 8-4 win over the Raton Tigers.

The Horsemen (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Estancia (Estancia, NM). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Estancia edged Mora (Mora, NM), 13-0, in a non-league game.

The Tigers now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe Indian for a non-league match on Thursday, March 26. Raton will confront a Braves team coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM). The Braves record now stands at 5-2.
