March 24, 2022: Dexter, GA 31019 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) and the visiting Baldwin Braves (Milledgeville, GA), saw West Laurens's soccer squad knock off Baldwin by a count of 5-3.
The Raiders now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Rutland for a AAAA Region 4 test on Monday, March 28. West Laurens will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Howard (Macon, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Baldwin drops to 4-8 on the season. The Braves travel to John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Monday, March 28. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-4. John Milledge Academy won 1-0 in their recent league test against Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA)
