The Plattsmouth Blue Devils crushed the visiting Fort Calhoun Pioneers baseball team by a count of 11-5 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Crete for a non-league bout on Friday, March 25. Plattsmouth will face a Cardinals team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Raymond Central (Raymond, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
