Alabama High School Soccer - Washington County knocks off Thomasville
March 24, 2022: Chatom, AL 36518 Washington County Bulldogs (Chatom, AL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Thomasville Tigers (Thomasville, AL), 6-1 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Washington County moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Bayshore Christian (Fairhope, AL) to battle the Eagles in a 1A-3A Region 1 bout on Friday, March 25. The Eagles enter the bout with a record of 1-7.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Greenville Tigers (Greenville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 29. Thomasville will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 7-2 league loss to Dale County (Midland City, AL).
