California High School Baseball - Shadow Hills nips Palm Desert
March 24, 2023: Palm Desert, CA 92260 Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Shadow Hills upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA) to battle the Rattlers in a Desert Empire test on Tuesday, March 28. The Rattlers come into the test with a record of 10-5. Rancho Mirage won 11-0 in their recent league test against La Quinta (La Quinta, CA)
With the defeat, Palm Desert falls to 6-6 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA) to battle the Indians in a Desert Empire test on Monday, March 27. The Indians come into the test with a record of 6-8. Palm Springs won 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA)
