Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), 7-2 in a league test.

With the win, Pieper upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Warriors host Salado (Salado, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 8-4.

With the defeat, Wagner falls to 8-13 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX) to battle the Rangers in a 5A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, March 28. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Smithson Valley won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against East View (Georgetown, TX)
