Georgia High School Baseball - Screven County defeats Savannah
March 24, 2023: Savannah, GA 31404 Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA), 7-0 in a league test.
With the win, Screven County upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Gamecocks travel to Bryan County (Pembroke, GA) to battle the Redskins in a 1A D-I Area 3 test on Tuesday, March 28. The Redskins come into the test with a record of 11-6. Bryan County won 16-2 in their recent league test against Claxton (Claxton, GA)
With the defeat, Savannah falls to 0-4 on the season. The Bluejackets travel to Metter (Metter, GA) to battle the Tigers in a 1A D-I Area 3 test on Tuesday, March 28. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 12-3. Metter won 15-0 in their recent league test against Claxton (Claxton, GA)
