Georgia High School Soccer - Clarke Central overwhelmed by Jefferson
March 24, 2023: Athens, GA 30605 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) and the host Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA), saw Jefferson's soccer squad triumph over Clarke Central by a count of 7-0.
The Dragons now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league test on Monday, March 27. Jefferson will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Clarke Central drops to 7-9 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Morgan County (Madison, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 28. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 13-0. Morgan County won 3-0 in their recent league test against Harlem (Harlem, GA)
