In Tuesday's league bout, the Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA), by a tally of 17-1.

Next up, the Bobcats encounter the Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA) in a High Desert bout, on Friday, March 27. Boron will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Broncs enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 15-3 league win over Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA).

The Scorpions (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against California City (California City, CA). The Ravens go into the High Desert challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, California City was overwhelmed by Rosamond (Rosamond, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.
