In Tuesday's league match, the host Riverton Silverwolves softball team scored a nice 12-2 triumph over the Bingham Miners.

Next, the Silverwolves play the Herriman Mustangs (West Herriman, UT) in a 6A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, March 26. Riverton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 6-1 non-league win over American Fork (American Fork, UT).

The Miners (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT). The Aviators enter the 6A Region 2 challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Cedar Valley was routed by Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT), 10-2, in a league challenge.
