The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) and the visiting Talawanda Brave (Oxford, OH), saw Lakota West's softball squad nip Talawanda by a score of 10-6.

With the triumph, Lakota West improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Firebirds host Monroe (Monroe, OH) to face the Hornets in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 25. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Monroe lost 9-4 in their recent non-league contest against Badin (Hamilton, OH)

The Brave now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ursuline Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, March 27. Talawanda will face a Lions squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Seton (Cincinnati, OH). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
