The Hamilton Big Blue softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Talawanda Brave to 4 in the Big Blue non-league win on Thursday.

The Big Blue now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a Greater Miami battle on Monday, April 6. Hamilton will confront a Middies team coming off a 18-2 league loss to Colerain (Cincinnati, OH). The Middies record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Talawanda moves to 7-2 on the season. The Brave travel to Loveland (Loveland, OH) to meet the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 7. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
