In Tuesday's league test, the Timpson Bears (Timpson, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Woden Eagles (Woden, TX), by a tally of 11-2.

Next, the Bears clash with the Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 test, on Friday, March 27. Timpson will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Owls go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 15-0 league win over Garrison (Garrison, TX).

The Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Broaddus (Broaddus, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Broaddus thwarted Martinsville (Martinsville, TX), 3-2, in a league contest.
