The West Davidson Dragons triumphed over the host Wheatmore Warriors softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Dragons play the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) in a Central Carolina 3A challenge, on Friday, March 27. West Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 16-0 league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, NC).

With the loss, Wheatmore moves to 6-4 on the season. The Warriors host Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC) to confront the Patriots in a Central Carolina 3A battle on Thursday, March 26. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 5-6. Providence Grove won 23-5 in their recent non-league battle against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
