The Central Bears baseball team (Brooksville, FL), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL)

The Panthers now hold a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fivay for a 5A District 5 outing on Monday, March 28. Lecanto will confront a Falcons team coming off a 27-1 non-league win over Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 6-5.

Next, the Bears confront the South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 29. Central will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Raiders go into the outing with a 2-6 record after their 18-10 non-league loss to Leesburg (Leesburg, FL).
