The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Leadership Academy Falcons to 5 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.

The Cardinals (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Millennium (Mount Airy, NC). The Lions go into the Northwest Piedmont 1A match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Millennium was overwhelmed by Bethany (Summerfield, NC), 17-2, in a league match.

The Falcons (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the Northwest Piedmont 1A match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Carver was overwhelmed by Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC), 27-0, in a league match.
