The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots baseball team (Gastonia, NC), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC)

The Cardinals now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Queen's Grant for a Metro Eight 1A outing on Monday, March 28. Corvian Community will face a Stallions team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 3-3.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the The Master's Academy Lions (Forest City, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 29. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
