Mason Punchers (Mason, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Center Point Pirates (Center Point, TX), 10-9 in a league challenge.

The Punchers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Junction for a 2A Region IV District 28 challenge on Friday, April 1.

With the loss, Center Point falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host San Saba (San Saba, TX) to face the Armadillos in a 2A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Armadillos enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. San Saba lost 18-5 in their recent league challenge against Medina (Medina, TX)
