Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA) and the host Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), witnessed Sutter's softball squad tip Churchill County by a count of 6-3.

The Huskies now sport a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gridley for a Butte View match on Tuesday, March 29. Sutter will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Winters (Winters, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Churchill County moves to 7-2 on the season. The Greenwave travel to Newark Memorial (Newark, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, March 25. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 4-3. Newark Memorial lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA)
