North Carolina High School Softball - Lumberton bounces Seventy-First
March 25, 2022: Fayetteville, NC 28304 Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), 21-0 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoke County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 26. Lumberton will battle a Bucks squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Seventy-First falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Falcons host Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Monday, March 28. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Jack Britt lost 25-2 in their recent league challenge against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC)
