The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish baseball team (San Francisco, CA), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA)

The Wildcats now hold a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop Mitty for a West Catholic outing on Tuesday, March 28. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 11-1.

Next, the Fightin' Irish confront the Bellarmine College Prep Bells (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic outing, on Monday, March 27. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Bells go into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA).
