Georgia High School Baseball - South Effingham holds off Islands
March 25, 2023: Guyton, GA 31312 Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) and the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), saw South Effingham's baseball squad knock off Islands by a count of 4-0.
Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) in a battle, on Wednesday, March 29. South Effingham will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
The Sharks now possess a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Effingham County for a battle on Monday, March 27. Islands will play a Rebels squad coming off a 13-7 league loss to Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
