The Pirates now hold a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mingo Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 26. Belfry will confront a Miners team coming off a 14-1 league loss to Scott (Madison, WV). The Miners record now stands at 2-3.
Next, the Hornets confront the Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 28. Phelps will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Martin County (Inez, KY).
