March 25, 2024: Metairie, LA 70005 In Monday's league contest, the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting St. Mary's Academy Cougars (New Orleans, LA), by a margin of 21-6.
With the triumph, Metairie Park Country Day moves its record to 18-1 on the year. The Cajuns host St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) to play the Comets in a 2A District 10 contest on Tuesday, March 26. The Comets come into the contest with a record of 12-5. St. Charles Catholic won 14-4 in their recent non-league contest against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA)
In their next game, the Cougars play the St. Katharine Drexel Yellowjackets (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 26. St. Mary's Academy will attempt to move on its 2-13 season record.
