Louisiana High School Softball - St. Mary's Academy loses to Newman
April 4, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70115 The Newman Greenies softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting St. Mary's Academy Cougars to 0 in the Greenies league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Newman moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Greenies travel to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league game on Friday, April 5. The Pioneers come into the game with a record of 0-11. Crescent City Christian lost 19-4 in their recent league game against Varnado (Angie, LA)
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 5. St. Mary's Academy will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Wolverines come into the game with a 11-6 record after their 6-5 league win over Springfield (Springfield, LA).
