Virginia High School Softball - Westfield bounces West Potomac
March 25, 2024: Chantilly, VA 20151 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA) and the visiting West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA), witnessed Westfield's softball squad prevail over West Potomac by a count of 13-3.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Battlefield for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. Westfield will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over South Lakes (Reston, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, West Potomac moves to 2-4 on the season. The Wolverines host Meridian (Falls Church, VA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Monday, March 25. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 0-5. Meridian lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Oakton (Vienna, VA)
