Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 12-7 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Bishop McNamara advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Fightin' Irish travel to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL) to battle the Rockets in a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. The Rockets come into the match with a record of 2-1.

The Comets now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Paso-Gridley for a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. Reed-Custer will battle a Titans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Titans record now stands at 1-3.
