In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA), by a tally of 13-2.

Next up, the Pioneers encounter the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 28. Fort Chiswell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA).

The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record.
