March 25, 2025: Waynesboro, VA 22980 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), saw Monticello's soccer squad hold off Waynesboro by a score of 2-1.
The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Goochland tipped Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Little Giants confront the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 31. Waynesboro will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
